Arts Los Altos Instagram Photo Contest - Prizes, Fun, Fame!

Arts Los Altos’ newest mural, 200 Main Street - an inventory of time and place, at the corner of Main and Third St features various ideas of home in Los Altos. This large work was specifically designed for viewers to place themselves in the scene, to literally make themselves at home while exploring the unique elements (objects, photos, paintings, scenery, books etc…) that reflect aspects of our shared local history.

So what’s YOUR take? Place yourself, your family and your friends and take your best shot. Post a creative photo of yourself or someone else in front of the mural on your Instagram Feed or IG Story and be sure to tag @artslosaltos and use hashtag #artslosaltos.

Prizes will be awarded! Three individuals will each win a $5 gift card for coffee or tea downtown. And one winning photo will be posted in the Los Altos Town Crier newspaper! Deadline is September 15th.

And by the way … you might be curious about specific elements of the mural: Who are these people? What does each object signify? For answers, explore the online key to all the featured objects at https://www.artslosaltos.org/200-main-street

We look forward to seeing everyone's creative photos of 200 Main Street [an inventory of time and place]!
